Parasailing

After months and months of waiting I finally got to parasail last Sunday. The experience was too short but enjoyable nevertheless.

Are You A Student?

Thats the first question my co-passengers ask, on a journey to or from Pune.
This time my Pune visit had to contend with many unforseen problems, almost all related to health. I got flu and conjuctivitis, and the Sister gets chicken-pox. Yes but eating and hogging thankfully were not a casualty.

Travel To The Hinterland

Went to a friend's wedding to a place tucked away in the hinterlands of Rajasthan. All through out the journey the song from Swades, "Yeh Jo Desh Hai Mera", went on playing in my head. Well the final place was pretty decent and my apprehensions turned out to be unfounded.
Meeting up with the entire gang was great fun. And the best part being hardly anyone had changed. R was still the crazy bava as before, A kept us in splits all throughout with his comments and inane observations, B still the pretentious bitch and social climber, T still the crazy for no reason guy and finally S with the most khurafati mind yet polite smile still in place. We decided on a new nickname for S, "Thanks and Regards".
And ultimate heaven was found after taking each other's case.

Ending It

The ending was not very easy. But I guess in the circumstances, necessary. Though not totally devoid of some drama.
It wasn't easy doing it. And what of the future? I have no clue.

Clean Wash Basins

At work in the cafeteria, we have wash basins all lined up for washing hands etc. What bugs me a lot is the state in which people leave it once they are done with. Morsels of food stuck on the basin walls. Yuck. I have no interest in what you ate.
It really doesn't take time to clean by just throwing a bit of water on the walls.
Many people stare at me incredulously while I clean the basins before using them and also after using them.
But I guess that's me being me.
