Keeping Contacts

I am generally bad at maintaining contacts. So it was a pleasant surprise to catch up with two friends after a long time. I could have contacted them earlier too but me being me went on putting it off. But now onwards I resolve to more responsive. There I've said it, better get out and do it....

My Best Laid Plans...

...dont' measure up to the expectations or just plain fail. But things for which I may not be excited or indifferent turn out to be absolutely opposite. Case in point being the Karaoke night, for which I wasn't excited, mainly because it was a Monday night, but it rocked and how!
In the process met an old acquaintance, after ages. And met up with an entirely new circle of people.

Catching Movies

Watched a mish mash of various movies all this week. First up was 36 Quai des Orfèvres, a french movie, which turned out to be pretty good. As most things happen, many of the reasons were because of a girl and blind power. I followed it up with Munich and Donnie Drasco. Donnie Drasco for me didn't show something new, I found it to be quite similar to another great movie Goodfellas. Very different both these movies are but that feeling remained.
